How To Achieve Millionaire Success – Right Now!
We all want success and we want it right now. I hate waiting not knowing when my success is going to show up. We want to have unlimited money, freedom, happiness, and everything in our life going perfect. And no matter how hard we work, how hard we meditate, and how much faith and belief we have, sometimes it seems we can’t force success to happen in our timing.
But, you can definitely move things in the direction of your success, so it happens sooner. In this blog I’ll share two tips you can do to bring success faster. And I’m not talking about setting yourself up to retire at 55 instead of 65. I’m talking about if you are 30 years old how you set it up so you can become financially free by 33. And if you are 55 and it looks like you can never retire I’m talking about taking steps right now so that when you are 58 you can be financially free.
Yesterday I had a contractor ring my door bell asking if he could clean my roof and gutters; he was soliciting work because he is out of work. The same day I got an email from the company I use to print my books asking if I was ready for another print run on my books; she was soliciting work because the printing business is slow.
I’m in the process of looking for new homes for my three horses because I no longer give them the time or attention I want them to have. I had a person lined up who was interested and then they backed out indicating the economy has caused financial challenges that will prevent them from making the purchase.
The economic downturn has affected everyone in some way or another. People are worried so they are much more careful about spending what little money they have than ever before. And many are facing cut backs at work and others have no work at all. So what can you do to ensure success to come your way right now? I’ll share three steps right now that will help.
TIP #1 – BE CLEAR ABOUT WHAT YOU WANT
Although this may sound obvious, it is common that people are not clear about what they want. They may say they want more money, but when asked how they would like to acquire that money, or even how they want to spend that money once they have it, they don’t have an answer.
Based on my 20 years of experience working with hundreds of multi millionaires and entrepreneurs, I’ve learned you must be very clear about not only what you want, but how you want to get it and then why you want it; how you will use it once you get it. Otherwise you have no clear desire, you only have a wish. Wishes are useless because they do not require you to take action. Without action you cannot get what you want.
So, when thinking about what you want; such as more money, also decide what is it you want to do to bring value to other so that you get that money. The contractor who is out of work wishing he had more money or a job will not get results. The contractor who came to my door yesterday took his wish to the next level by deciding not only what he wanted, a job and money, but also he decided how he planned to get it; by going door to door asking.
The woman who works for the company who prints my books, decided not only what she wanted, more orders, but she decided what she would do to get more orders; start emailing all her past clients asking if they have a need for more printing.
TIP #2 BE PERSISTENT
All those who have found great success say that it only comes about with persistence. No matter how much I want success to come immediately, it hardly ever does. In fact it sometimes seems I have no control at all over the timing. Yet when I am clear about what I want, how to get it and why I want it, and am persistent to work on my plan to get it, success always comes sometime soon, even if it’s never as fast as I want.
I guarantee the contractor who knocked on my door yesterday probably had to face a lot of rejections before he found one willing customer. My guess is he might face 20 to 50 maybe 100 rejections before he lands his first job. If he gives up after the first 10 rejections he guarantees he won’t get what he wants. Persistence is the main thing that separates the successful from the not successful in life.
Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen co-authored the book series titled Chicken Soup For The Soul, which is arguably one of the most successful book series of all time; selling over 100 million copies. When they talked to publishers asking to get their first book published they were rejected by the first 119 publishers. Most people stop asking after the first three rejections. Can you imagine going on after the first 20 rejections? What would have happened if they stopped after the first 50 rejections?
The point is, persistence is a huge characteristic of successful people. No one can argue that Jack and Mark were not persistent and that if they stopped after 100 rejections they would not be incredibly rich and successful as they are today.
