The Secret of Kells (2009) is an absolutely brilliant animation. Beautiful artwork, a nice and calm story. Please note: Although absolutely wonderful, this film has barely had any mainstream attention. I think it is not shown in the cinema anymore – so my foremost aim by putting this online is getting it a bit more fame. Therefore, I urge you all to buy the dvd – it really is worth it, and you support the makers in making more of such terrific animated films!
